This is just a quick reminder to our UK Connected systems user group meeting tonight  http://www.eventbrite.com/event/1943088831 at

Hitachi Consulting
2 More London Riverside
SE12AP London
United Kingdom

Tuesday, August 23, 2011 from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM (GMT)

There are still 4 tickets left, even if you don't book please try to turn up, there will always be some last minute cancellations.

We are very pleased to invite Sam Vanhoutte (@SamVanhoutte) who is coming over to the UK from Belgium to present two sessions related to the recent Azure AppFabric CTP release.

Session 1: Exploring the advanced messaging capabilities in Azure AppFabric Service Bus.

All applications move to the cloud! ? No, they don?t! Implementing hybrid solutions, connecting applications and services between the cloud and the data center will be a reality in today?s solutions.

In this session, we will explore the new features that have been released in the AppFabric May CTP. This CTP introduces a lot of new messaging capabilities to the Windows Azure platform. After an overview of the integration roadmap, we will mainly present the various messaging capabilities (the new queues, publish-subscribe patterns, sessions), the new WCF Service Bus bindings and the relaying capabilities of the AppFabric Service Bus. Expect a session full of demos and code and with a minimum of slides!

Session 2: Deploying and managing composite applications with Azure AppFabric

The second session dives into the new capabilities of the AppFabric Composite Applications. These are being provided in the June CTP and contain great components like Workflow, Service Bus settings, Web Services, etc. This session will show the concepts of the Composite Applications, the hosting in the AppFabric containers and the management and deployment capabilities that are part of the CTP.

BizTalk360 at BizTalk user group meeting - Stockholm, Sweden

Posted at: 6/14/2011 at 6:26 AM by saravana

We are extremely delighted by the amount of help and support we received so far from the great Microsoft BizTalk MVP (Most Valuable Professionals) community. It simply exceeded all our expectations and made us speechless. Special thanks to Mikael Hakansson, Johan Hedberg, Steef-Jan Wiggers, Mikael Sand, Richard Seroter, Kent Weare, and our close friend in UK Michael Stephenson

When Mikael Hakansson and Johan Hedberg mentioned about the upcoming Swedish BizTalk user group meeting "Top 10 Things to Know When Integrating with Line of Business Systems" by Richard Seroter and Kent Weare related to their upcoming imagebook "Microsoft BizTalk 2010 Line of Business Systems Integration", we took the opportunity to visit Sweden and try to create some awareness about BizTalk360 among the Swedish BizTalk community.

Integration space is a constantly changing landscape. However experienced you are, you are constantly challenged with new scenarios, patterns, systems, etc. In this book they tried to address some of the common challenges customers face when Integrating to line of business systems like Dynamic CRM/AX, SalesForce.com, SAP, Windows Azure, SharePoint etc.

The presentation was extremely good, I personally picked up lot of tips related to Azure ServiceBus. One of the things we are working on for our next phase of BizTalk360 is the integration with Azure Service bus to connect BizTalk360 remotely to the on-premise Microsoft BizTalk infrastructure via the cloud (ServiceBus) reliably, securely and with less overhead on infrastructure. From that point of view, it was such a great event for us to pick up some valuable tips.  IMG_2362

The event was filmed, and it will show up in channel9 at some point. I recommend everyone to involved in this space to take a look.

I'm also delighted to announce, I'll be speaking in the next Sweden user group meeting in August/September. We are discussing the topics with Mikael and Johan.

image

We were also surprised to see the big Microsoft Windows Azure hot air balloon, which apparently is one of the biggest hot air balloons in Sweden with the capacity of 22 people.

Thanks everyone for stopping by our stand and viewing the demo of BizTalk360. If you got any further questions please feel free to contact us via any of your preferred contact options listed here

We are looking forward to see you all again in August/September.

UK Connected Systems User Group - Feb 15 2011

Posted at: 2/9/2011 at 1:44 PM by saravana

Our first UK connected system user group is scheduled for Feb 15th 2011.  There are two sessions planned for this meet.

Session 1

Speaker: Saravana Kumar (BizTalk 24/7 & BizTalk BlogDoc & BizTalk MVP)

Topic: Instrumentation and Diagnostics in BizTalk Projects

Session 2

Speaker: Richard Blewett

Topic: WCF 4.0 Routing Service

I'll be presenting the first session on how to instrument and diagnose a BizTalk solution. I'm trying to address some of the bad practices we acquired over the years in this space and suggesting few best practices moving forward. It's only a 45 min session, so its going to be challenging.

The tickets are going fast, when I checked few minutes ago only 8 left. So be fast, if you are planning to attend.
