Our first UK SOA/BPM User Group Meeting

Posted at: 7/18/2008 at 11:19 AM by saravana
Last night we had our first UK SOA/BPM user group meeting held at Microsoft office in London Victoria. Thanks goes to Jonathan Woodward, Michael Stephenson , Andy James for organising this. It was a good turn around for the first meeting, around 30 people. It's good to get in touch with some of the folks you have only known in the online world.  I think its very healthy knowledgeable crowd, with fellow MVP's (Yossi Dahan, Santosh Benjamin, Robert Hogg), few people from Connect Sys... How can I find the installed hotfixes on the server/workstation?

Posted at: 7/18/2008 at 9:47 AM by saravana
Looks like a silly question, but recently I struggled to find the installed hot fixes on our server. We install certain hotfixes on all of our BizTalk server. I configured the IIS Application Pool to have a web garden (more than one worker process w3wp.exe) to serve the incoming requests. The application pool also got settings to recycle the worker process after certain usage of virtual memory/physical memory. During the test, once the virtual/physical ... [More]

MVP Year - #2

Posted at: 7/4/2008 at 9:37 AM by saravana
I'm delighted to say I been awarded Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) for second year in a row. My first MVP year was awesome, its hard to believe the level of benefits you get from Microsoft for being an MVP. I'll say the highlight of my award year was participating in the "Oslo" Software Design Review at Redmond during the MVP global summit. Without being an MVP its very unlikely I would have got a chance like this to hear directly from the Product team their futu... [More]
